Alisha Hodge, MSW, LCSW is a lifelong social worker committed to Child Welfare, with over twenty years of social work experience currently serving with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (IDCFS).

She is an avid believer in Audre Lorde’s radical self-care and is fiercely protective of her own physical wellbeing including nutrition, group fitness, personal strength training and a new obsession with HIIT and yoga. Alisha is a retired half marathoner, however still loves a good 5K or obstacle race! Alisha thrives on the encouragement others supporting their fitness journey and loves to see the manifestation of adopting a healthy lifestyle. Alisha owes a special thanks to her trainer Steve Starks, the person who helped her find her inner athlete again and pushed her to new heights. Alisha notes that her most significant accomplishment has been overcoming the stigma of teenage parenting and being the proud mother of two amazing young men Terrell Dickerson and Craig Dickerson.

 Alisha continues to live out her belief in contributing to a stronger community, and believes fully in the Mind-Body connection: IMPROVED PHYSICAL HEALTH = IMPROVED MENTAL HEALTH. Certifications- Buti Bands + Sculpt.
